It’s been almost 9 years since our very first card game, Viewpoint, was released in September 2009. Since then, we followed it up with its sequel, Viewpoint Reflections, and two other passion projects – Monster Town and No Fish! We think it’s time to introduce Viewpoint to the next generation of gamers and show those who have enjoyed Viewpoint since day one how much better this new version is. And, to continue the theme of vision-related puns, we’ve called the new game Viewpoint Revisioned. Viewpoint Revisioned takes all the great things from the original game and enhances them for an even greater gaming experience. ARTWORK While it wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea, the original Viewpoint artwork captured a retro art style suited to games of the era. The artwork for Viewpoint Revisioned, however, transcends all eras and shows how committed we are to producing games that are visual masterpieces. Our illustrator, Kerri Aitken, and graphic designer, Ashley Kenawell, are two of the most gifted artists that we’ve met. Once you feast your eyes on their work, I’m sure you’ll agree. STORYLINE We introduced gamers to the eye folk in Viewpoint and Viewpoint Reflections; however, Viewpoint Revisioned goes far beyond basic one-eyed characters. Viewpoint Revisioned introduces the Blinkers (Eyenstein, Iris and Hawk) who, after a cataclysmic lab accident, are lost blinking between different dimensions in the Viewniverse. Viewpoint Revisioned is just the first set in an all-new episodic Viewpoint card game series. Each set introduces new worlds and new characters for the Blinkers to encounter. We are fully committed to providing a fun-filled and expansive narrative and have developed the design, storylines and artwork for three additional sets with even more on the way. Check out our website for more information on these Viewpoint episodes. Episode 1: Viewpoint Revisioned Episode 2: Eye vs Eye Episode 3: Prehistoric Park Episode 4: The Winking Dead GAMEPLAY Just as in classic Viewpoint, players collect Viewpoints to help the Blinkers back to their home world of Myclopia. However, from Prehistoric Park onwards, players must meet additional challenges to survive or fulfil alternative goals to win the game. We’ve also designed each set so that it can be played as a standalone episode or mixed in any combination for a deeper, more challenging gaming experience and an even more thrilling adventure. “Will you be eaten by one of Dr Crichton’s creations in Prehistoric Park? Will you survive the Zombeye plague in The Winking Dead?” PRODUCT QUALITY We’re not only bringing players exquisite artwork and action-packed gameplay but we’re also packing it into a product with the highest quality components. Using the lessons learned from classic Viewpoint and our other games, we’ve implemented a lot of intelligent design into what will be the final product. Some product design highlights include:
WHAT’S NEXT? Whilst our illustrator and graphic designer are very busy crafting the artwork and visual style that will showcase Viewpoint Revisioned and the next three sets, we are finalising the rules for all sets, with particular attention being paid to Prehistoric Park, our most innovative design yet. As we move closer to the Viewpoint Revisioned funding campaign in September/October 2018, we’ll be spending more time showcasing how much fun a Viewpoint gaming experience is. This means that we’ll be visiting local game stores/clubs and attending expos to spread the word. If you’d like to join us on our journey, then here’s what you can do… GAMERS: We have Print & Play (PNP) copies of the first four Viewpoint Revisioned episodes on our website. We’d really appreciate you giving the game a play and sending us as much feedback (in person or via our website or info@93madegames.com.au) as you’d like so that we can adjust the rules to deliver the best gaming experience possible. REVIEWERS: Production quality prototypes of Viewpoint Revisioned will be available at the end of August 2018. We’ll be sending plenty of these out to reviewers but, if you have a particular interest in Viewpoint Revisioned, we’d love to hear it so that you can be one of the first to receive a copy. STORES: We want to work with you to help promote Viewpoint Revisioned to your gamers. We’ll be contacting many of you leading up to the launch of Viewpoint Revisioned and asking to come in and demonstrate how exciting a Viewpoint experience can be. If you’d like to get the jump on this exciting new game then feel free to drop us a line on our personal emails (sean@93made.com and/or anthony@93made.com). STAY UP TO DATE

It was another successful Toy and Game Expo for 93 Made Games in the year two thousand and fourteen. We'd missed the previous year's expo due to a variety of reasons and were very happy to return to an expo that brings gamers, game designers and the general public together under one very high roof. The expo started off with the indoctrination of the newest member of the company when we subjected Simon to bump in on a freezing winter's night. Whilst the expo hall was warm enough, having to circumnavigate half of Olympic Park to return to our cars froze our proverbials off. Both days of the expo gave us plenty of chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones. We received visits from Barry and Jason from UOW Guild Gaming Society as well as Simon, Sam and Will who have been big supporters of Viewpoint in Australia and abroad. Christine and Manuel from Mega Games also dropped by to say g'day and pick up their freshly-minted copies of Monster Town. We made a lot of new contacts with up and coming designers such as Kim from Secret Base Games, Jason from End Game Games and Anna from Draw Cards Game. We saw and played many great games from Australian designers and can easily envisage a time in the near future where Australian games are going to be a well sort after commodity. Watch out world! It's not a Toy and Game Expo without a Viewpoint Championships and it seems it's not a Viewpoint Championships without the reigning World Champion Lindsay Heming from The Games Cube winning again! 22 other competitors placed Lindsay firmly in their sights but he managed to stave off a concerted effort in the typical style of a champion (winning by the smallest of margins) by claiming his first double crown - Viewpoint Champion 2014 and Viewpoint Reflections Champion 2014. Well done Lindsay! Viewpoint aside, we also had great fun demoing Monster Town and NinjitZoo. The guys from Blue Room Games definitely have a popular game and we're proud to help them get it out to the gaming public. We also can't wait to see what game they have in store next. So if you were unfortunate enough to miss out on this year's Toy and Game Expo, make sure you check out their website and get in early for next year's expo. We'll see you there! The Toy and Game Expo is Australia's only public expo with the latest in toys and board games. Experience the fun in this family interactive heaven for ages from 4 through to adults based on a principle of See, Play, Own. Come along and SEE passionate high end users demonstrating their projects. PLAY with it yourself, and if it tickles your fancy take the opportunity to OWN it by visiting a retail booth.
Gamers will have their first chance to get their hands on the premiere edition Monster Town at this year's Toy and Game Expo in Sydney, Australia on 5-6 July. 93 Made Games will also be showcasing its other games - Viewpoint and Viewpoint Reflections - as well as NinjitZoo, which is the first game from Indie designers Blue Room Games. These games will be exclusively available to the Toy and Game Expo attendees for special expo-only discount prices. Along with Mega Games and Natural 20 Games and Hobbies, the expo will also be the only locations where gamers will be able to purchase Monster Town prior to its official release in September 2014. Free Stuff! As per usual, 93 Made Games will be giving away plenty of merchandise to people who show up at our booth and purchase our games. And back by popular demand, 93 Made Games chocolates will be available - while stocks last - to anyone who comes by our booth to say hello. Demo Games We will be demonstrating all of our released games as would be expected but will also be demonstrating the latest prototype of Superstars Rugby League to those diehard league enthusiasts. Attendees will also get to throw rotten tomatoes at us during our 30 minute stint on the Spotlight Stage so please feel free to raid the vegie bin and hurl some produce our way or at least come by to say hello and play our games. Indie Distro Last but by no means least, we want to meet with as many other independent Australian game designers and publishers as possible. The expo is a great place for doing this so if you have a game that you have designed and/or released then we want to know your story. Come by our booth or drop us an email so we can see how we can help build the Australian games industry together. 93 Made Games might even be able to assist in distributing your games throughout Australia and beyond.
Gamers will get their first look at the Monster Town beta prototypes during International Tabletop Day activities hosted by Mega Games in Penrith, NSW on Saturday, 5 April 2014. Viewpoint, Viewpoint Reflections and NinjitZoo will also be on show as part of the International Tabletop Day festivities at the PretzCON games convention in Omaha, Nebraska and g33k3 (pronounced “geeky”) pop culture convention in McKinney, Texas. International Tabletop Day is a celebration for all the fans of tabletop gaming. A single day where the whole world is brought together in a common purpose of spending time together and having fun.
On 18 January 2013, the Courier Mail, Queensland's leading newspaper, ran an article on board games and how much they have changed over the past two decades. The bulk of the article was based around an interview with LXG’s Keith Done, and it includes a list of top twenty board games, including Viewpoint, written by Keith. The article never appeared online, but the Courier Mail have very kindly given LXG permission to display the article on their website. Click the links below to open up the two-page article. Enjoy!

The new exciting Viewpoint 3v3 season gets underway on 1st January 2013. What is Viewpoint 3-on-3? Download the description and rules here. Teams should register or express their interest by emailing us before the 31st December 2012. You are allowed 3 main players (1 captain and 2 other main players) plus 2 reserves (back up players who can substitute if the main players cannot make an agreed match). Once teams are registered, 93 Made Games will place them into regional groupings so that it is easy for teams to hook up and play games. Depending upon the number of teams in a region, teams will have to play a number of predetermined games against the other teams in their region (example, Brisbane Central has 9 teams competing and Sydney West has 3 teams - the Brisbane teams play each other once, while the Sydney teams play each other 3 times). 93 Made Games will determine the actual number of games required in each region. Teams and the regions they are based in will be posted on the 2013 3v3 Season webpage, along with the email contact of each team captain. The 2013 season will run from January 1st to May 31st. All teams must arrange to play their required games within their region by mutual consent. Once a game time and place is agreed to, the details will be posted on the webpage. Non-show results in forfeiture of the match. If people find it difficult to agree on a suitable date, 93 Made Games will nominate an in-store/in-club session where the teams will play. Results are to be emailed to 93 Made Games by the winning team and confirmed by the losing team. The two highest scoring teams in Australia will be invited play in a Grand Final to be held in June 2013. Viewpoint is a fun-packed and easy to learn card game for 2 or more players aged 7 and up. On the 25th and 26th of August 2012, Anthony Condos from 93 Made Games attended the Heroes and Villains Pop Culture Expo in Penrith as a part of the Mega Games stall. With cosplay, numerous special guests and a range of other events that occurred during the expo it was a fun and fantastic weekend for all. It was a pleasure for Anthony to show the attendees how to play Viewpoint. Some of the Magic: the Gathering players attending the expo strolled over to have a taste of the Viewpoint experience. The people who came to us for demonstrations ranged from children of the age of seven to adults aged thirty plus; even entire families came to have a go of Viewpoint and Viewpoint Reflections. 93 Made Games would like to thank Manuel and Christine of Mega Games for inviting us to demonstrate Viewpoint and Viewpoint Reflections to the expo attendees that came to their stall. And, as you can see from the photos, Viewpoint is not only global, it is now intergalactic! Viewpoint is a fun-packed and easy to learn card game for 2 or more players aged 7 and up. Be the first player to reach 100 points by looking into the future, spying on other players and blindsiding your buddies!
Viewpoint was short-listed as the Australian Game of the Year by Boardgames Australia at the Toy & Game Expo. The other nominees were Caption If You Can!, Cuble, Dungeon Raiders, Dweebies, Higher or Lower and Rosetta, with Dweebies winning the coveted award. This is why Viewpoint was short-listed... Viewpoint is a fun card game of tit for tat with a psychedelic theme of vision: spectacles, TV, blurry vision, and shadows all appear in this game! Each player is trying to get 100 points out on the table, but every card that they play also gives them special actions: moving cards back into their hand, drawing more cards, stealing from opponents and so on. The game hinges on timing the play of your key cards to have the best effect, but a little bit of luck never hurts either! 93 Made Games hosted the Australian Viewpoint Championships and Viewpoint State of Origin at the Toy & Game Expo. Both tournaments boasted some of the biggest names in Viewpoint, including former World Champion runner-up Will Yung and former Player of the Year runner-up Alex Done. Australian Viewpoint Championship Lindsay Heming won the Australian Viewpoint Championship for 2012 by defeating an all-star cast of former and current Viewpoint champions. The combined might of Jacob Moriarty (2012 NSW Champ), Alex Done (2010 QLD Champ) and Will Yung (2010 Worlds Runner-Up) was not enough to stop Lindsay from taking the championship in 47 minutes. The early rounds were also tough with Jacob narrowly sneaking into the top 4 on second-order breakers. The stage is now set for a thrilling World Championships in October. Viewpoint State of Origin New South Wales evened the ledger by defeating Queensland by 2 games to 1 in this year's state of origin. NSW took the first game quickly with Will Yung flooding the board with View-points whilst his teammates Lindsay Heming and Victor Areces stalled QLD's efforts. QLD trio Sean Carroll, Alex Done and Keith Done balanced the scoreline in the second game by mirroring NSW's tactics from game one. With QLD on the verge of securing the origin trophy again, Victor Areces pulled off an amazing turn to return 20 points from the discard pile to his hand and play it to take NSW to the summit of victory. Congratulations to New South Wales! Viewpoint is a fun-packed and easy to learn card game for 2 or more players aged 7 and up. Be the first player to reach 100 points by looking into the future, spying on other players and blindsiding your buddies!
